Travis/Caldwell Counties, Lockhart, TX
Segments 5 and 6 of State Highway 130 comprise a 40 mile route through Travis, Caldwell and Guadalupe counties to IH-10 near Seguin in Central Texas.
Currently, T.J. Lambrecht Construction is performing work at sections 5.1, 5.2 and 6.1 of the SH-130 project. Our scope of work includes clearing, topsoil stripping, mass excavation of approximately 10 million cu yds of material, placing 6 million cu yds of embankment, performing 2.5 million sq yds of lime stabilization treatment at depths from 12" to 42". We are also installing 670,000 tons of stone flexbase and will finish up with seeding. Over 500,000 man and equipment hours will be expended by TJL in support of the construction of 28 miles of new divided highway.
